Financial planning that starts with your plan, then your portfolio.
These services are planned for launch once Riggs Financial LLC is registered with the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions. Nothing below is available today, and nothing here is a solicitation to become a client.
One process, applied consistently.
Every full engagement follows the same four steps in the same order — plan, portfolio, ongoing management, and periodic review. Clients who aren't ready for that full relationship can instead start with the newsletter and model portfolio subscription or the on-demand advice subscription below.
The four steps
Build a personalized financial plan
Start with your full picture — income, obligations, goals, timeline, and risk capacity — and turn it into a written plan specific to you, not a generic template.
Construct a tailored portfolio
Build a portfolio matched to your risk tolerance, goals, and the plan itself — sized and structured for that specific plan rather than a one-size-fits-all model.
Ongoing portfolio management and rebalancing
Once invested, the portfolio will be actively monitored and rebalanced as markets move and allocations drift from target.
Periodic reviews to update the plan and portfolio
Life changes, and the plan should too. Regular reviews will revisit goals, update the plan, and adjust the portfolio accordingly.
Two planned client tracks.
For young professionals
Early-career income growth, student debt payoff sequencing, first serious investment accounts, and building good habits before assets get complicated.
For business owners
Coordinating personal and business finances, retirement plan setup for a small business, and planning around irregular owner income.
On-demand advice subscription.
For clients who want ongoing access to ask questions by call, text, or email as they arise — without a full asset-management relationship.
How it's planned to work
Subscribers can reach out anytime with questions about their finances or investments, including a self-directed client asking what we think of a specific trade before making it themselves.
Who it's for
Self-directed investors and clients who manage their own trades but want a professional's perspective, without committing to ongoing portfolio management.
How fees are expected to work.
Because Riggs Financial is not yet registered with the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions, final fee schedules cannot be published. The direction is clear: fees are designed to be transparent and accessible for young professionals and small business owners, not just clients with already-large portfolios.
Graduated asset-based fee
For ongoing portfolio management, a percentage-of-assets fee that graduates down as assets under management increase.
Flat or subscription planning fee
For clients who want a full financial plan before assets are large enough for an asset-based fee to make sense — billed flat or as a monthly subscription.
Hourly rates
For narrow, one-time planning questions that don't require an ongoing relationship.
Newsletter & model portfolios subscription
A flat monthly subscription for the weekly market report and access to all of Riggs Financial's live-tracked model portfolios, with no asset-management relationship required.
On-demand advice subscription
A flat monthly subscription for ongoing access to ask questions by call, text, or email as they come up.
A note on pricing
Final pricing will be published upon registration with the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions. Any numbers discussed informally before that point are illustrative only and not a commitment or offer. Fees will be charged directly, not through commissions or proprietary products, so compensation is tied to advice, not to what you buy.
Business financial planning & consulting
Beyond individual financial planning, a future offering under consideration is financial planning and consulting support for small businesses in the Lexington area. This would come after the core planning and portfolio services are established, not at initial launch.
